How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Clipboard account at any time in the app. Your account is scheduled for deletion 30 days after your request, and you can cancel by logging back in during that window.

Deleting Your Account

1. Open the Clipboard app
2. Tap "Account," then "Delete Account"
3. Enter the one-time code sent to your phone number to verify your identity

4. Review the confirmation message and acknowledge it to submit your request

Important: Any booked shifts are removed from your calendar when you request deletion, and standard marketplace deductions apply to your Clipboard Score. Complete or remove booked shifts and wait for pending earnings to be deposited before submitting your request.

What Happens After Your Request

• Your account moves to a pending-deletion state and is scheduled to be deleted after 30 days
• You'll receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
• Some records are kept for a limited time where the law permits or requires it, for example, tax records, background-check records, and records needed for fraud prevention or a legal matter

Canceling a Deletion Request

Log back in to the Clipboard app within the 30-day window to cancel the request and keep your account. Once the deletion is complete, the account and its data can't be recovered.

Login Errors After Deletion

Clipboard only deletes accounts at the account holder's request. If you see one of these errors, the account was deleted after a verified request:

• "Disabled by an administrator"
• "Error 401"
• "Not authorized"
• "Email not found"
