If you are having trouble logging in, try the steps below in the order listed. Most login issues are resolved by using the correct login method tied to your account.
Logging In with Your Phone Number
All Clipboard accounts are created using a phone number.
- Open the app and enter the phone number used to create your account
- Tap "Log In"
- A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your phone via SMS
- Enter the code to sign in
If you do not receive the code, make sure your phone has a signal and can receive SMS messages, then tap "Resend code."
Logging In with Your Email
If logging in with your phone number does not work, you can use your email instead.
- On the login screen, tap "Use email to log in instead."
- Enter the email associated with your account
- Check your inbox for the login link
- Tap the link to sign in
If you do not see the email, check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
Having Trouble?
If you see "Phone Number Already in Use"
This message means that a Clipboard account is already linked to that phone number. Tap "Log In" to sign in to your existing account.
Creating a new account when you already have one violates Clipboard's Terms of Service and may result in account deactivation.
If you have not logged in for a long time
If your last login was more than a year ago, your account may still be active. Try both your previous phone number and any email address you may have used.
If neither works, contact the Support Team and include your full name along with any phone number or email associated with the account.
If you did not receive your login code or email
For SMS codes: confirm your phone has signal and can receive text messages, then tap "Resend code".
For email links: check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders.
Wait a few minutes before trying again.
I’m not receiving the verification code
- Make sure your phone has a signal and can receive SMS messages
- Check that you’re entering the phone number you used to create your account
- Wait at least 60 seconds before requesting a new code
- Check if your phone is blocking messages from unknown numbers
If you still don’t receive it, try requesting a code via email instead (if available).
I changed my phone number and can’t log in
If you no longer have access to the phone number on your account:
- Try logging in with email + password if you set one up
- If that doesn’t work, contact the Support Team to update your phone number
- You’ll need to verify your identity before the change can be made
The app keeps logging me out
- Make sure your app is updated to the latest version
- Check that your phone’s date and time are set to automatic
- Clear the app cache and log in again
- If it keeps happening, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
