Clipboard runs a marketplace that connects independent healthcare professionals with healthcare workplaces. Protecting your information matters to us. This article explains what you can do yourself in the app and how to reach us if you need help seeing, updating, or deleting your information, or exercising your California privacy rights.
Learning How We Handle Your Information
These pages explain what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have:
- Privacy Policy (including the California Supplement) — what we collect and why
- Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (California)
What You Can Do in the App
A lot of your information is already in the app for you to view and update any time:
- Your profile: name, phone, email, address, photo, and badge
- Your documents, licenses, résumé, and skills
- Your earnings and payout settings
- Your Clipboard Score
- Your signed agreements (in the Legal section)
- You can also download the documents you've uploaded
Tip: The fastest way to see or fix most of your information is to update it yourself in the app.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you're a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know/access the personal information we've collected about you
- Correct personal information that's inaccurate
- Delete the personal information we collected from you
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and limit the use of certain sensitive information
These rights apply as described in our Privacy Policy and are subject to certain exceptions under California law. For details, see the "Your California Privacy Rights" section of the Privacy Policy.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time in the app:
- Tap "Account," then "Delete Account"
- Confirm with the one-time code we sent you
Your account is then scheduled for deletion. You have a 30-day window to change your mind. Just log back in during that time to keep your account.
As explained in our Privacy Policy, we retain certain information for a limited time, as permitted or required by law. For more details, see How to Delete Your Account.
Accessing or Correcting Your Information
First, check the app; most of your information is viewable and editable there (see above). If there's something you can't find or fix yourself, message us in the in-app Support chat by tapping "Account," then "Get Help," then "Contact Support" in the Clipboard app, and we'll help.
To protect your account, we may need to confirm your identity before we make changes or share information. We'll handle your request within the timeframe required by California law.
Opting Out of Sale or Sharing, or Limiting Sensitive Information
Use the California Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
