What types of In Home visits can I book?
Agencies currently post home health, hospice, and home care visits on Clipboard.
How do you book a visit?
- Go to Find Shifts section of the app
- Open Home Health tab on the top-right
- Tap Book on the visit
What should I know before booking?
Please make sure you're comfortable with the following details prior to booking. Visits that are dropped after booking may be subject to an AS penalty.
- Description - Please read this carefully to ensure you meet requirements (e.g., language, gender, desired healthcare experience)
- Address - Click on the hyperlinked address for the precise visit location
- Pay Rate - Ensure you're comfortable with the listed rate
What should I do after booking?
Immediately chat with the agency to request EMR access and patient contact information. You are then responsible for scheduling the visit with the patient.
You will have 24 hours to Confirm a visit date or Pend the visit in “My Shifts/Bookings” after booking. Failure to select either option within 24 hours will result in a -10 penalty.
When should I Confirm vs. Pend a visit?
You should confirm a visit if you’ve been able to schedule a visit date.
You should Pend a visit if you’re waiting for the agency to provide EMR access or the patient is unreachable.
What if I confirmed a visit date but its no longer accurate for some reason?
The day after your Confirmed visit date, you will be required to Log or Pend the visit. If the visit has been delayed, please update the Confirmed date or Pend the visit to avoid a penalty.
Not taking any action the day after the Confirmed Visit date will result in a -10 penalty.
What are the expectations after a visit?
After visiting the patient, you should complete all visit notes in the agency’s EMR within 24 hours.
Do I receive score points for working In Home visits?
Yes, you will receive +3 points for each approved visit occurrence.
How do I get paid after a visit?
Once your visit is complete, please log it:
- Go to My Shifts/Bookings section of the app
- Find the correct Patient ID and Visit Type
- Tap Log Visit
The agency will verify the visit to trigger payment once notes are approved.
What should I do if I feel like my Clipboard Score penalty is unfair?
If you have a valid reason for dropping a visit, please raise a dispute HERE. We will review it and get back to you within 48 hours.

The following actions may result in Clipboard Score penalties being applied to your account. If you’d like to dispute an Clipboard score deduction, please submit a dispute HERE.

Booking a visit means you’re agreeing to the case description and duration. Dropping visits will result in a penalty. Do not drop a patient even after all completed visits. Agencies should close these cases on their end. |
